I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to write for this American site as a reocurring writer, so wah lah:
There is a new wave of fashion leaders taking over the fashion world! Meet, Russia’s Miroslava Duma, or Mira as she is known for short. This lovely fashionista has left photographers, designers and editors yearning for more. You might recognize her face from Vogue’s The Voice of Fashion list, Elle’s Style Icon list, WWD’s mainpage and so many more top lists, but more notably of course, she is known for her prior title of being one of the youngest editors of Harper’s Bazaar Russia (psss.. she’s only 25). Currently, she is a freelance writer for magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and InStyle, along with owning the popular Russian fashion site (Buro247.ru) and she still makes time to be front row at fashion shows for every designer from Karl Lagerfield’s Chanel Metiers d’Art to Louis Vuitton’s showcase at Fashion Week. So, how does she do it? For one, she has a daring and yet trendsetting personal style, particularly with regards to her love for statement-making necklaces, silhouettes and adorning patterns that never cease to immerse an eternal style.
Mira is the darling in Russia’s fashion world, so much so that she is now proof of the notion: size doesn’t matter. In a world filled with six foot supermodels representing the fashion world, this petite style icon has completely destroyed such stereotypes. She is a force to be reckoned with and style icon extraordinaire with exquisite taste.
